If you don't mind, can you clarify or elaborate what certainly happened?
Like when you say the system denied you to buy the Big Deal Item, does that mean you certainly can't put the item in your shopping cart?
Or it can be putted but, you can't proceed with the steps in placing the order, etc. ?
I think it will be of great help too if we will check the screenshots of the process for further reference.
